Kids Against Hunger is a family friendly program of A Child's Hope International where people of all ages work together to provide life saving food for starving children. This revolutionary food formula was invented by Richard Proudfit of Minnesota - a pioneer, visionary and hero. Through his efforts working with food scientists from leading U.S. companies, countless children have been saved from the painful death of starvation.
A Child's Hope International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation serving orphan and vulnerable children locally and worldwide through four channels of care:
- Adoption
- Foster Care
- Orphan Care
- Humanitarian Relief

Zambia is one of the African countries hardest hit by HIV/AIDS. There are over 1 million orphans today and that number is growing. About 70 percent of the population earns less than $1 per day, so families, communities and schools are overstretched in their efforts to care for children. Many households are now headed by children as young as 11 who are forced to forego the education they need to prepare for a harsh economic environment as they struggle to care for their younger siblings. These children are now without families, food and a future. We have been called upon to help and we will feed the orphans of Africa!

Panera Bread is hosting the Soup for the Soul campaign to benefit Kids Against Hunger. Throughout February at all southwest Ohio bakery-cafes, a portion of every soup in a bread bowl sale will be donated to Kids Against Hunger, a family friendly program providing nutrient rich meals to malnourished children locally and around the world.
